NOTEBOOK: Receivers once again feel relevant
AUBURN -- New offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler has been coy when pushed for details about how the Tigers' attack will work this fall.
Wideout Trovon Reed isn't shy about sharing his thoughts.
He couldn't be happier.
"It's going to be very different," the junior said. "Y'all are probably used to seeing trick plays and all that. This offense is just straight -- we're going to out-physical you. We're going to beat you."
Reed added that wideouts are running more routes and being used primarily as a passing-game element. In seasons past, receivers spent a large portion of their time blocking.
"I don't think people really know the potential we have -- the talent we have," senior Emory Blake said. "Coach Loeffler coming and doing the stuff that he's doing, I'm very excited for this season."
