Auburn hoping to regain shooting stroke
AUBURN -- Hours a two-point loss to Ole Miss last week, guard Frankie Sullivan returned to Auburn Arena a few hours later to work on his shot.
Senior forward [db]Noel Johnson comes in the arena during his off nights and fires more than 300 shots in an effort to to regain his touch from three-point range.
Junior guard Chris Denson refers to the practice gym as "the lab" where he comes before and after practice to hoist shot after shot in search of the solution to Auburn’s scoring woes.
Each is trying to regain the lost component to the formula of a successful offense.
"Offense is all about confidence and right now, it doesn't seem like we're a real confident team offensively," coach Tony Barbee said.
