AUBURN -- Deon Mix has some thinking to do.
The Rivals four-star offensive lineman de-committed from Mississippi State in late January after a seven-month, public allegiance. A weekend trip to the Plains has added complexity to the decision he must make during the next few days.
"I really liked it," Mix said Sunday morning. "It's really something that I have to go home and pray about. Just the family vibe. The people here, the team, everything here. It's great. It's an awesome city. It's definitely something I'll consider."
Mix, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 305 pounds, said Auburn would like to play him at guard or center. He said the Tigers want their tackles to be at least two inches taller.
He's OK with any position along the offensive front.
"I don't really even care," he said. "Wherever I can further my career. Wherever they want me, that's where I'll play and I'll work my best at it."
