Center of attention
AUBURN | Joshua Casher always has been bigger and stronger than the defenders he's charged with blocking.
That explains why a 6-foot-1 offensive lineman hasn't spent a second of his football career at center. Yet that's exactly where Auburn, along with a growing list of major-conference suitors, would like to see him perform.
Casher left the Tigers' Junior Day without an offer, but he believes one will arrive in short order.
"Most likely, it'll be on the way as soon as I get them some film of me snapping. I've only played right tackle and guard," said Casher, who attends St. Paul's Episcopal in Mobile. "I think I'm going to grow to love (center). They get to run the offensive line. Get to compete
and get under some of those big ol' boys' pads."
