S.C. sleeper emerges

Rivals.com Football Recruiting SPARTANBURG, S.C.- Woodruff (S.C.) defensive lineman Delvin Johnson has been impressive during workouts for Saturday's Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. The 6-foot-3, 265-pounder is getting looks from several college programs and more attention could be on its way.
"My coach (Woodruff High head coach Freddie Brown) says that a lot more people have been calling about me," Johnson said. "But he hasn't said who."
Johnson added that North Carolina, N.C. State and Tulsa, along with Division I-AA South Carolina State and Division II Newberry College, have all been showing a lot of interest.
"I'm just out here being the best I can be," he added.
