New team in Askew's top two
It's been difficult for San Antonio Madison receiver Nate Askew to get away this year and take any unofficial visits. He played basketball, ran track and participated in spring football while school was still in session. His schedule actually isn't much lighter this summer since he is in summer school during the day and participates in a 7-on-7 league at night.
So far, he has been to Texas A&M and Texas Tech for junior days. His visit to A&M went well enough that he's basically listed the Aggies as one of his leaders - if not the leader - since that trip in late March. The Tech coaching staff made a run at the big prospect during May by visiting Madison's practices and, at one point, they were listed as being co-leaders with the Aggies. However, a new school has now emerged as a serious contender for Askew and it is a program that has entered the sweepstakes a little later in the process than the others.
