Auburn leaves Knoxville with big win
Auburn kicker Wes Byrum had a career-night Saturday in Knoxville, Tenn. In the Tigers' 26-22 win over the Volunteers, the junior made a career-high four field goals.
And the Auburn offense hated it.
Nothing against Byrum, he did what was asked of him. The Tigers just settled for more field goals than they would've liked, particularly in the first two quarters.
Auburn compiled 266 yards of total offense in the first half alone, yet netted just one touchdown. The Tigers' first three drives of the game, they drove the ball into Tennessee territory. Those drives resulted in a Chris Todd pooch-punt and two Byrum field goals (29 and 43 yards).
